After months of planning, manufacturing, and preparation, we are thrilled to announce that the erection of all precast concrete components is now complete at the Aurora Public Works project! This milestone was achieved through the collaborative efforts of the entire project team.
A total of 278 precast pieces were erected, covering 97,500 square feet for the new public works facility. The facility will house office spaces, vehicle maintenance areas, and more to support the City of Aurora's public works operations.
Leading the construction is General Contractor R.C. Wegman Construction Company. The architectural and engineering firm Kluber Architects + Engineers designed the new complex.
The erection of columns, beams, walls, and additional precast pieces was performed by the experienced crew from Creative Erectors, LLC.
As the precast manufacturer for the project, we worked closely with the architects during design to provide precast pieces that would meet both aesthetic and functional goals. Our production team then manufactured the pieces with the highest quality standards.
Now that the erection phase is complete, the remaining construction of the facility can move forward. But we couldn't have reached this important milestone without the dedication and teamwork of everyone involved. The collaboration of the contractors, designers, erectors, and our team was crucial every step of the way.
We're proud to be part of this project that will provide an important new facility to support services for the City of Aurora and its residents. We look forward to seeing the completed public works complex! Stay tuned for more updates as construction progresses.
